ServicesCabramatta Youth Team provides a range of services for young people aged 12 to 25 years living in the Fairfield and Liverpool local government areas. Services include: Youth and Parents Drug and Alcohol Project which provides case management,
prevention and early intervention programs and activities which aim
to reduce drug and alcohol abuse and use a harm minimisation approach. Youth Development Counsellor provides support and counselling for homeless or at risk young people in the Bankstown, Fairfield and Liverpool local government areas. Programs and activities encourage and enhance skill development for homeless young people. Multicultural Youth Support Project provides educational and recreational
programs and access to mainstream services for young refugees and newly
arrived migrants. The project works with culturally and linguistically
diverse young people, young people from Indigenous and young people with
disabilities. Brokerage Services is for young people who are homeless or at risk and are in need of financial assistance to maintain their lives. Assistance with food, travel accommodation are just a few of the services available. After Hours Outreach Bus project provides safe injecting equipment information resources and referral for young people who have drug or alcohol backgrounds. The service operates every weekend for 5 hours and the bus can be located outside Cabramatta train station. |
