FECAP

Fairfield Emerging Communities Action Partnership:

The partnership is convened by the Fairfield Migrant Resource Centre and Fairfield City Council. The partnership was initiated in 2000 and involves NSW Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS), Anglicare Migrant Services, Centrelink (Fairfield and Cabramatta offices), CatholicCare, Fairfield Multicultural Health Service, ACL and NSW Refugee Health Service.

Fairfield Emerging Communities Action Partnership (FECAP) is a community-based partnership designed to:

• assist the emerging refugee communities of Fairfield with the development of social/cultural infrastructure and
• build linkages between these communities and mainstream service providers.
