The Heights at Canley Heights
Services:
The Heights at Canley Heights provides a central meeting place, a source
of information and referral and a place where local residents can access
a range of programs and activities. Staff are available to assist in
a variety of languages including Vietnamese, Spanish and Italian. A Justice
of the Peace service is available by appointment.
The Heights at Canley Heights provide information, casework and referral
that assist families and the broad community to find appropriate services
for:

Life Style Activities:
We provide a variety of activities & lifestyle programs suitable for all
members of the community. We are constantly updating our activities to adapt
to the changing needs of the community. All input & new ideas are
welcome. A small fee applies for most programs.

- Shopping Trip
- Computer & Internet Access
- Card Making Classes

Training Courses:
We provide a range of training courses in partnership with service providers
such as Wetherill Park TAFE Outreach. We also conduct a range of computer classes
in partnership with Fairfield City Council & Australia Seniors Computer
Club Association.
Current training courses include:
- TAFE Outreach Computer Classes
- Parenting Course for Vietnamese Speaking residents
- Computer Classes for Seniors in English & Vietnamese

Groups:
The various special interest groups that the service supports are
relaxed and friendly groups of people. Most groups would benefit from
having more members. Joining a group when you are the only newcomer may
seem a bit daunting, but soon you will know everyone too. Group members
take part in a variety of activities such as board games, craft and
art groups, music, plays, travel, workshops & information
sessions.
