CORE Community Services Preschool

The CORE Community Services Preschool provides educational programs based on the developmental needs, interests and experiences of each child. Supporting children’s intellectual and language development, preschool provides a solid foundation for life-long learning. The service is funded by Family and Community Services.

Our Preschool offers a variety of experiences that are fun, educational, creative and open-ended, where children are able to achieve and build confidence. These include indoor and outdoor activities as well as planned play experiences that give children the opportunity to develop their social, moral, communication, thinking and physical skills.

Our Preschool also has a school readiness programme to develop pre-writing, reading and language skills, independence, confidence, co-operation and enthusiasm, to ease the transition to school.

The service is open from 9am – 3 pm, Mondays to Fridays during school terms.
